europa-league2In the 1st group derby of the Ajax and Anderlecht had no winner. Ajax scored first with Romental. Van Queen shown a red card in 82′ . Then Anderlecht’s Lezear scored on 85′ for the final 1-1.  Scoring early in the game, Dinamo Zagreb win 3-0 Timisoara.

In the 2nd group Valencia played against Genoa. Genoa scored first but eventually Valencia win by 3-2. On the other match of the group Lille scored 5 times and win Slavia Prague.

On Group 3 Celtic and Rapid Vienna cancel each other for the final result of 1-1. On the other match of the group Hamburg win over  Hapoel Tel-Aviv with 4-2. 
Hamburg – Hapoel Tel-Aviv 4-2 (5 ‘, 12′ Berg, 41 ‘Elia, 77′ Ze Roberto – 36 ‘Sechter, 61′ Gempoa)
Celtic – Rapid Vienna 1-1 (21 ‘McDonald – 4′ Gelavits)

In the 4th group the bad year of Hertha Berlin was not interrupted in Portugal. Sporting Lisbon forced the Germans to defeat and put them in trouble early. Heerenveen and Ventspils were not able to score and the 0-0 was the final result.
Sporting – Hertha 1-0 (18 ‘Silva)
Ventspils – Cheerenfeen 0-0

AS Roma and Fulham achieve victories over CSKA Sofia and Basil on Group 5.
Roma – CSKA Sofia 2-0 (20 ‘Okaka, 23-Peru)
Fulham – Basel 1-0 (57 ‘Murphy)

On Group 6 Panathinaikos win with 1-0 Dinamo Bucurest while Galatasaray tie with Sturm Graz.
Dynamo Buc. – Panathinaikos 0-1 (79 ‘Karagounis)
Galatasaray – Sturm Graz 1-1 (63 ‘Baros – 45′ Baichler)

Levski Sofias was unable to prevent Lazio so they lost 0-4. On the other match Salzburg overcame the obstacle of Villarreal.
Levski Sofia – Lazio 0-4 (22 ‘Matouzalem, 45′ Zarate, 67 ‘Megkni, 74′ Rocky)
Salzburg – Villarreal 2-0 (21 ‘Janko, 84′ Tsogi)

On Group 8, Twente and Steaua Bucurest cancel each other without score. On the other match of the group Fenerbahce add 3 more points by beating Serif Tiraspol.
Twente – Steaua Buc. 0-0
Serif Tiraspol – Fenerbahce 0-1 (53 ‘Alex)

On Group 9 a fantastic AEK Athens manage to beat Benfica 1-0. Everton had no problem of beating BATE as well.
AEK – Benfica 1-0 (43 ‘Majstorovic)
BATE – Everton 1-2 (16 ‘Lichtarovits – 68′ Felaini, 77 ‘Cahill)

Toulouse and Bruges shared the points with the final score of 2-2. On the other match Shakhtar nearly demolished Partizan 4-1.

Shakhtar – Partizan 4-1 (24 ‘ibid Lomits, 39 ‘Adriano, 54′ Tzantson, 67 ‘Rakitskii – 86′ Liagits)

On Group 11, PSV Eindhoven overcame Cluj thanks to a goal on 9th minute. On the other match FC Copenhagen win Sparta Prague as well.
Copenhagen – Sparta Prague 1-0 (25 ‘NDoy)
PSV Eindhoven – CFR Cluj 1-0 (9 ‘Bakali)

On Group 12 Werder scored 3 times against Athletic Bilbao and Austria Vienna draw with Nacional.
Werder – Athletic Bilbao 3-1 (18 ‘Hood, 41′ Naldo, 92 ‘pen. Frings – 91′ Giorente)
Austria Vienna – Nacional 1-1 (76 ‘Schumacher – 35′ Michael)
