Matches of UEFA Europa League on 3rd December 2009.

Group D:
FK Ventspils – Hertha BSC Berlin
Sporting Clube de Portugal – SC Heerenveen
Sporting is the boss of the group with 10 points. They need only 1 point to secure qualification. Hertha and Heerenveen each have 4 points. At the last position there is Ventspils with 3 points.
Last chance for Heerenveen and Hertha to make a step forward. Both teams will do whatever is possible to secure a victory with the task of Heernveen to be a more difficult one.

Group E:
Fulham FC – PFC CSKA Sofia
AS Roma – FC Basel
Basel leads with 9 points. Roma follows with 7, Fulham has 5 and at the last spot there is CSKA Sofia with just 1 point.
Roma has an excellent chance to win and climb on top spot. Certainly they do have the quality to achieve it so. On the other hand, Basel will travel to Rome mainly for the draw so this will be a close game. For the other match, Fulham will most probably secure the victory with one way or another.

Group F:
Galatasaray AŞ – Panathinaikos FC
FC Dinamo Bucureşti – SK Sturm Graz
Galatasaray is currently on top spot with 10 points. At the second place there is Panathinaikos with 9 points. On the third place there is Dinamo Bucureşti with 3 and on last position there is Sturm Graz with only 1 point.
Dinamo Bucureşti needs only win if they want to keep alive their hopes for qualification. On the other match there will be a close game with the draw to be the most natural result.

Group J:
FC Shakhtar Donetsk – Club Brugge KV
Toulouse FC – FK Partizan
Shakhtar is first with 12 points and they have already qualified. On second place there is Brugge with 7 points, third is Toulouse with 4 points and at last spot is Partizan with no points yet.
Brugge is traveling to Donetsk mainly to get at least 1 point. On the other match Toulouse will do whatever necessary to secure the win.

Group K:
PSV Eindhoven – AC Sparta Praha
FC København – CFR 1907 Cluj
PSV leads with 8 points, Sparta Praha has 7, København 4 and on last spot there is Cluj with 3 points.
A close game will be played between PSV and Sparta Praha. PSV surely has the advantage but Sparta Praha is more than capable to secure a draw. On the other match FC København needs the 3 points of the win and they will play for that result. Cluj is a tough team but I do not think that they are able to get more than a draw.

Group L:
FK Austria Wien – Athletic Club
Werder Bremen – CD Nacional
Werder Bremen has already qualified with the 10 points currently posses. On second place there is Athletic with 7, Nacional with 2 follows and on last place there is Austria Wien also with 2 points.
A straight forward match in Germany for Werder Bremen. As they have already qualified we might see many new faces on the starting eleven. On the other group match, Austria Wien is capable to get at least a draw.
