This year the tool guaranteed prize pool of the events will exceed the $50 million a fact that reflects the high participation of the poker players to this event. We should note here that last year’s prize pool was at $40 million while when the WCOOP first appeared back to 2002 the guaranteed prize pool was just $800K.

The tournament officials expect to break the 43973 players’ record as more players will participate to this very popular online poker event.

This year the PokerStars WCOOP events will start at Sunday, September 5th while the last event is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th.

Pokerstars.com reckons the fact that a lot of people are using their mobile phones to run numerous applications including internet browsing, send / receive email and socializing. The mobile phones have evolved from simple communication devices to high tech tools and PokerStars.com saw a great opportunity to rise. The online poker giant bought Cecure Gaming, a company which specializes in the development of mobile gaming applications. The company has years of experience in the specific field as they operate in the mobile gambling market since 2000 and have active agreements with major communication carrier companies such as Orange, T-mobile and Vodafone. However, Cecure Gaming watched their profits to drop mainly because of the financial crisis and the board decided to sell the company. PokerStars.com made the best offered and acquired the mobile gaming company for an amount which was not revealed.

Pokerstars.com is aiming to develop a version of their poker software which will run over mobile operating systems but at the same time will ensure maximum quality and top security for the end user. Of course company’s plans are at initial stage as there are many parameters which should be taken under consideration including the processing and sensitive personal and financial information of the mobile application user.

It is well known that despite the fact that the encryption algorithm of the mobile devices is very strong, the fact that mobile devices virtually share the same network and the data are transmitted through a weak mean (air) can cause many unpredictable events and security issues. Pokerstars.com – so far – always paid great attention on internet security and they will not launch any kind of application unless they are absolutely certain their customers are protected.

Searching the internet, the end users welcomed such a possibility but they also reckoned the fact that unless the application is at the same standards as the downloaded version which provides maximum security and fairness will not install the application to their mobile phones.

Full Tilt Poker offers a new poker variant. The game, called “Rush Poker” is, according to Full Tilt Poker the fastest game in the world. The variant is indeed extremely fast-paced, you can fold in a bad hand at once and is automatically set to a different table.

This new poker format is created to minimize the waiting time between hands, so that one more “in action” remains. There is a large player pool, and every hand played by you, we encounter another table full of new opponents. Phil Gordon aptly describes it as “Multi-tabling on a single-table”.

Have played no longer wait actionhungrige The player has to rush to the other poker players to hand over. As soon as he pressed the Fold button or the Quick-Fold button, it immediately goes off on a new table with a new hand and other players. How to play in an hour more than 250 hands.

The problem of course is that you have no time to identify the characteristics of individual players at the table or hand-study histories of their opponents. Simply go too fast. Furthermore, does the position at the table completely arbitrary. On the other hand, many players will be just exactly like it.

Rush poker tables are there in the entry-level and in the standard version of the Full Tilt Poker lobby. How to reach the new format, will determine the long-term players. Full Tilt has patented the new variant in any case already.

Pokerstars VIP Club and Pokerstars Bonus Awards
What is a VIP Player Point?
Every time you earn Frequent Player Point (FPP) by playing a game with cash [...]

Pokerstars VIP Club and Pokerstars Bonus Awards

What is a VIP Player Point?
Every time you earn Frequent Player Point (FPP) by playing a game with cash money or participating in a tournament, you earn one point VPP. FPP bonuses, such as those accumulated through an elite level, does not allow the award of points VPP. More specifically, does not accumulate points VPP in the following situations:
1.Games (and win) in a 1000 FPP satellite event with which you win a seat in a satellite event for 10,000 FPPs. Decide to unsubscribe to the event and take the 10,000 FPP satellite. In this way, points are accumulated VPP.
2.Bonus FPP accumulated in the VIP program FFP. For example, suppose a player’s VIP level SilverStar. As a member of the SilverStar VIP Club level, receive an instant bonus FPPs equal to 50%. Therefore, if you earn 400 FPPs in a week, we will assign you a bonus of 200 FPPs. Each of the 400 FPP points you allow the award of a VPP, contrary to what happens with the 200 FPP bonus.
3.FPP you earn for participating in polls, etc..
When did the VIP Club?
The VIP Club has started on 1 January 2006 from zero in the count of points VPP. From that moment it was possible to start accumulating points VPP.
As long is the level achieved?
Levels Silver, Gold and Platinum are valid until the end of the calendar month following the month in which you qualified. In the following months, you can confirm this level or move to a higher level. Therefore, if you accumulate 3000 VPP between 1 and 20 June, gets the GoldStar for the month of June. Will be valid until the end of July. If you qualify again in July (another 3,000 VPP), the validity will be extended until the end of August and so on.

Having earned 100,000 points VPP required, you win the level Supernova, which will be valid until the end of January the following year. Furthermore, the validity of the statement will be extended from month to month from February to the end of September, provided that it continues to accumulate at least 10,000 VPP per month (it is admitted the failure to accumulate 10,000 VPP in just one month).

Having earned 1,000,000 points VPP required, you win the Supernova Elite level of the VIP Club, which will be valid until the end of January the following year. Furthermore, the validity of the statement will be extended from month to month from February to the end of September, provided that it continues to accumulate at least 50,000 VPP per month (it is admitted the failure to accumulate 50,000 VPP in just one month).
I understand that if I qualify for Level SilverStar VIP Club in May, the state remains valid until the end of June whether or not I qualify in June. During the month of June, also receive bonuses FPP?
Yes For the month of June are a member of the SilverStar VIP Club Level, so you accumulate bonus FPPs.
If I have enough FPPs to buy an item, but I have VIP status needed (for example GoldStar), I can still make purchases?
No. When you make a purchase, you must have the sufficient number of FPP but also the level required for the award. For example, in February you were a member of the VIP Club Level GoldStar and April have SilverStar status, you can not buy the items unique to the level GoldStar.
FPP extra gain with the VIP program allows me to release the deposit bonus at PokerStars?
No.
How do I check my status?
Cashier window PokerStars complete information is available on the levels on the issues in the monthly and annual VPP and FPP balance.
Can I transfer my points VPP account of another player at PokerStars?
No, you can transfer your points or FPP VPP account of another player at PokerStars.
VPP points expire?
Yes, there are two counters VPP points: one meter per month (according to which levels are assigned BronzeStar, SilverStar, GoldStar, and PlatinumStar) and counting the annual (depending on which levels are assigned Supernova). The counter is resets monthly on the first day of each month, while year on 1 January of each year.
VPP will be organized tournaments that you can subscribe using the points VPP?
No. It’s just a system that allows you to track the game on PokerStars.
If my counter points VPP is reset at the end of each month, how do I reach the level Supernova?
There are two counters: one for level monthly Silver / Gold / Platinum and one year for level Supernova.
Where can I view a schedule of all tournaments freerolls for members of the VIP Club?
All information is available here: Freeroll tournaments for members of the VIP Club.
Where can I find a complete list of items that I buy with my FPP?
Nell ‘FPP Store displays all the available sections. For the purchase of certain items you must have reached an elite level, ie SilverStar, GoldStar, or PlatinumStar Supernova depending on the specific articles.
So, can I subscribe to PokerStars tournaments and other tournaments using my FPP?
Yes For more information see enrollment in tournaments with the FPP.
FPP points expire?
The FPP accumulated over time expire during the calendar year unless it actually does not earn more. For example, if you have accumulated points in 2008, your FPP not expire for that year. However, if he gains more points in 2009, all your FPP will expire on 1 January 2010.
How should I play first to win a stake in the WSOP Main Event?
Depends on the pace of play of individual players, but generally you must obtain VPP 250,000 or the equivalent in tournaments. For a player who played on four tables simultaneously, 24 hours a week, this goal is achieved in less than a year.
