Seven teams where in the Valencia circuit today for the first official day of Formula 1 2010 season tests. Finally, Sebastian Buemi – who was the first driver that started the testing period – was behind the wheel of a Toro Rosso STR5.

These tests are clearly non competitive as the teams are trying to check the electronic systems and the balance of the car. The tests will continue later today with some initial setups given that the problems that appeared in the morning will be solved.
