The online poker giant bought Cecure Gaming, a company which specializes in the development of mobile gaming applications. The company has years of experience in the specific field as they operate in the mobile gambling market since 2000 and have active agreements with major communication carrier companies such as Orange, T-mobile and Vodafone. However, Cecure Gaming watched their profits to drop mainly because of the financial crisis and the board decided to sell the company. PokerStars.com made the best offered and acquired the mobile gaming company for an amount which was not revealed.
Pokerstars.com is aiming to develop a version of their poker software which will run over mobile operating systems but at the same time will ensure maximum quality and top security for the end user. Of course company’s plans are at initial stage as there are many parameters which should be taken under consideration including the processing and sensitive personal and financial information of the mobile application user.
