This Tuesday January 19th Manchester United will host the first leg of the semifinal League Cup against Manchester City. The match was originally scheduled back at the beginning of January but the bad weather conditions force it to be postponed. Now, after 15 days the match – most probably – will be played and both teams are in excellent condition. Manchester United is currently on second position – just a point behind the leaders, while Manchester City is on 5th place.

Ferguson most probably will use the young Mame Biram Diouf who scored in the last match of United against Burnley. The young player from Senegal is delighted with his performances so far and he stated that will do whatever possible in order to be an integral part of the United’s team. Ferguson is seeing much potential to the young player and he stated that Diouf posses great physical attributes such as pace and sprint.

The last meeting of the two teams was back in September 2009 at Old Trafford. At that game, United managed to secure the victory after a thrilling match with 4-3.
