kubica1Robert Kubica will continue to race for the F1 2010 season with Renault. This is what his manager Daniel Morelli stated. Kubica future to the Formula 1 cockpit was in doubt after the Luxembourgian investment company Genii Capital has bought a large percentage of the Renault stocks.

Kubica had a quite good F1 2009 season. He classified in the 14th position of the standings with 17 points. He is aiming for a fast car and high lever performances in order to manage to secure much better results this year.

So far there are 5 empty seats as Renault has only confirmed Kubica, Torro Rosso has confirmed only Sebastian Buemi, Campos has confirmed only Bruno Senna and USF1 has not confirmed any drivers yet. However, there is a good chance that more drivers seats are currently available as many teams have not yet decided which will be the racing drivers and who will be the development drivers.

First Grand Prix race for the 2010 season is scheduled for Bahrain on March 14th. There are about 75 days before the first race and all the teams are expected to start the development test within the second week of January.
