F1 2009 Season ended

sebastian-vettel-250-4The formula 1 2009 season has just finished. The last grand prix event took place on Abu Dhabi on Yas Marina circuit. The Yas Marina racing track cost around 900 million euros and it is built on the Yas island that was created technically. The cost of the island creation was about $40,000,000,000 ( forty billion dollars) .

Abu Dhabi race is the only one of the 17 racing days of the formula 1 season that combined day and night conditions. Over 50,000 spectators saw Sebastian Vettel to win the race.

Red Bull racing team celebrated another 1-2 into the podium. This result makes the Austrian team to finish second on the constructors championship. The champion of the f1 2009 season both on Drivers and Constructors Championship was the newly formed Brawn GP with Jenson Button and Rubens Barichello – Barichello has already sign-up for the British Team of Williams.
