Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games and one of the first that featured on the online casino world. The game originated in France during the 18th century and quickly spread all over the world mainly because of its simplicity. Blackjack is also known as twenty-one ( from the French ‘vingt-et-un’ (21)).
The main purpose of the game is your cards to have a total sum of 21 or as close to this as possible. A number of players is playing against the dealer who also tries for a blackjack. If the sum of your cards is over 21 then you are busted and you automatically loose all your bets. The same rule applies to dealer as well.
However, there are certain rules the dealer must follow. The most important one is that if the total sum of his cards is equal or exciting 17 then he is not allowed to draw any more cards. That means that if the player has more than the dealer, then he wins. Of course the dealer always plays last.

The most important element is the number of decks the house (the dealer that represents the casino house) is using on each game. Another important element is if the cards that have been used are shuffled inside the playing deck after each game or not.

This information can be used in order to make the dealer to bust. Hit: To call for another card. You can Hit as many times you want as long as you are not busted.
Double: You call for only one more card. Your bet is also doubled by that way.
Split: perform this action when you have 2 identical cards.
Stand: You are happy with the sum of your cards and you do not wish to draw any more.

Stand if you have 17 or more especially if the dealer shows less that 7.
Hit if you have 12-16 and the dealer shows a 7 or more.
Hit if you have less than 10.
Double if you have 11.
Double if you have 10 or less and the dealer card is less than the sum of your cards.
Split when you have 2 Aces
Split when you have 2’s, 3’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s and 9’s.
Never Split the 2 tens or 2 fives.
If you are in a situation where the dealer has 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 then it is a good move to stand. If the dealer has a ten value card then there is a good chance that he will bust.
