U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover won a second round 65 (-8), to remain a leader and put three shots above the rest of golfers in a tournament in Kapalua.
Glover lost ground, until he managed a birdie at the fifth hole, the initiation of six holes that scored six under par. It took all those birdies, plus an eagle, as they move forward on a good day for several competitors.
The pointer was with 131 strokes (-15) and John Rollins followed him three shots back after a round of 66 and then a group of golfers to 135 (-11), including defending champion Geoff Ogilvy (with round of 66) and Sean O’Hair (67).
The Argentine Masters Tournament champion Angel Cabrera scored another round of 68 and was five shots off the lead, with 136, 10 under par.
